Job summary

Deel is hiring a Pre-Sales Solution Consultant (Delivery) within the Global Payroll Solutions organization to ensure APAC payroll customers transition from Sales to Implementation with clarity, confidence, and delivery readiness. You will lead payroll discovery, document country scope, and validate timelines while aligning scope with delivery capabilities.

The role demands 5+ years in APAC payroll implementation or pre-sales, strong cross-country payroll knowledge, and excellent stakeholder

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in APAC payroll implementation, global payroll operations, or pre-sales.
• Strong payroll knowledge across APAC jurisdictions.
• Experience with multi-country payroll complexity and regional statutory obligations.
• Understanding of HRIS/HCM integrations, including embedded HIS platforms.
• Excellent documentation and handover discipline.
• Confidence to raise risks and challenge assumptions constructively.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in English required; Mandarin language skills highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Discovery & Readiness: Lead detailed payroll discovery sessions with prospective and newly signed customers across APAC.
• Gather and document country scope, payroll populations, local processes, pay frequencies, benefits, statutory obligations, and integrations.
• Identify operational, compliance, and product risks early in the customer journey.
• Validate feasibility of scope, timelines, and rollout approaches.
• Prepare and advise on go-live dates and rollout plans.
