Job summary

Informa seeks an experienced Payroll Operations lead based in Singapore to manage complex APAC payrolls, ensuring compliance and timeliness. You will lead the payroll team, oversee in-house and outsourced processes, and drive improvements across regional regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong Mandarin communication, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, HR, IT and Legal. Based at our Bugis Junction Tower office with some flexibility for hybrid work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive payroll experience.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Mandarin (written and spoken) to engage Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage payroll processes across APAC, in house and outsourced.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and timely submissions across APAC countries.
• Maintain leave records and manage governmental subsidies/claims.
• Monitor changes to employment laws and implement across regions.
• Oversee payroll vendors and ensure SLA adherence.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, IT and Legal teams.
