Job summary

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) Singapore seeks a Director, APAC Head of Platform Services to lead infrastructure and platform engineering in a regulated financial services setting. You will own end-to-end hosting, virtualization, cloud and SRE practices, driving resilience, automation, and governance across APAC.

The role requires 10+ years in technology leadership, deep experience with AWS/Azure, on-prem and cloud operations, and strong stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of technology leadership experience in regulated environments.
• Proven platform leadership across hosting, virtualization, Windows and Linux, and cloud.
• Experience embedding SRE and observability at scale within financial services.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term platform roadmap for hosting, virtualization, cloud, and observability.
• Lead and develop a high-performing platform engineering team and govern architecture.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, and business stakeholders to align platforms with regulatory needs.
• Oversee on-prem hosting, virtualization lifecycle, and DR/BCP planning.
• Drive cloud strategy (AWS/Azure), cost governance, and security controls.
