Job summary

Chubb Insurance Singapore Limited seeks a Head of Engineering to drive APAC technical strategy and platform modernisation. You will lead four platform/architecture leads and own the strategic rollout of Catalyst and CARE across APAC, ensuring architecture decisions align with business priorities and delivery velocity.

The role requires deep cloud-native experience, leadership across cross-border teams, and the ability to balance regional commercial needs with technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven track record setting technical strategy in a complex, multi-product digital platform environment.
• Strong background in modern cloud-native engineering (Azure, C#/.NET, TypeScript).
• Experience leading platform or architecture teams with hands-on detail when required.
• Demonstrated ability to drive platform modernisation in brownfield environments.
• Ability to translate technical trade-offs into business outcomes for senior non-engineering audiences.
• Experience in financial services, insurance, or a regulated B2B digital environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the APAC digital technical roadmap and platform choices.
• Lead Catalyst and CARE platform adoption across APAC including migration sequencing and synergies.
• Own cross-cutting engineering programmes spanning multiple squads and partners.
• Lead and develop four platform/architecture leads and set platform strategy and standards.
• Enforce security, API design, deployment practices, and production readiness.
• Drive capability development through hiring, tooling, and AI-assisted delivery.
