Zusammenfassung

Samsonite is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to manage full spectrum A/P and A/R duties in a multinational environment. You will handle vendor invoices, staff reimbursements, intercompany transactions, and collections, supporting month-end and year-end closings. Fresh graduates are welcome; 1–3 years experience in MNC accounting is a plus.

Proficiency in Excel,SAP, Concur, and DocuWare is advantageous. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 1 to 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational corporation (MNC) environment, will have an added advantage.
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred. Candidates with hands-on SAP experience will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles, coupled with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage a high volume of transactions, prioritise multiple tasks, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Strong team player with a high sense of accountability, resilience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to work.
• Experience with SOX controls, Concur, and DocuWare will be an added advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas and functions.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Aufgaben

• Responsible for full spectrum of Accounts Payable duties, including accurate recording of vendor invoices and staff expense reimbursements.
• Responsible for full spectrum of Accounts Receivable duties, including monthly issuance of debit/credit notes and collection activities.
• Assist in month-end closing (GL including accruals and prepayments), and prepare audit schedules.
• Assist in year-end closing and provide documents requested by auditors and tax consultants.
• Handle ad-hoc assignments and projects as required.
