Job summary

OpenAI in Singapore is seeking an IT Logistics Lead to own and scale APAC IT logistics. The role combines hands-on inventory execution with regional program leadership and vendor management, leveraging Oomnitza and automation to improve asset visibility and controls.

You will manage procurement relationships, high-risk travel, and regional contractor oversight while ensuring data accuracy, security, and scalable processes across time zones.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT logistics, hardware lifecycle, inventory, or asset management in fast-moving environments.
• Hands-on inventory discipline: receiving, tagging, staging, cycle counts, secure storage, shipping, returns, repairs.
• Experience with asset management systems (e.g., Oomnitza) and improving data quality, workflows, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own APAC IT logistics operations from Singapore, including receiving, tagging, staging, secure storage, cycle counts, device readiness, shipping, returns, repairs, redeployment, and hardware fulfillment.
• Manage APAC hardware procurement vendor relationships.
• Own the APAC High-risk travel program end to end, including intake, tracking, escalations, reporting, handoffs, and continuous improvement.
• Manage asset management data quality, lifecycle states, reporting, workflow improvements, audit readiness, and integrations that streamline workflows across logistics systems.
• Use AI, automation, and lightweight tooling to improve logistics processes, reconcile asset data, document SOPs, surface exceptions, and reduce repetitive manual work.
• Onboard and oversee regional contractors with SOPs, quality checks, escalation paths, and execution standards.
