Job summary

Lightning AI is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations Engineer for APAC. You’ll manage large-scale GPU environments, Linux systems, bare metal infra, and automation, partnering with Infra Engineering, Network Ops, and Software Platforms to improve reliability.

The role is remote for Singapore-based candidates with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00–17:00 (UTC+8) and participation in an on-call rotation. Strong scripting, networking, and cloud skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years Linux server experience; Ubuntu is a plus.
• 5+ years AWS experience.
• 2+ years Kubernetes and container fundamentals.
• 2+ years Terraform and Ansible.
• 2+ years with NAS management (NFS/Ceph) a bonus.
• Experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus/ELK).
• GitOps workflow familiarity.
• Automation/scripting in Python or Go for system APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and roll out platforms to minimize incidents.
• Deploy updates to support internal and customer use cases.
• Collaborate across Infra Ops, Networking, CS, and Platform teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation with structured primary/secondary pattern.
