Job summary

Lightning AI is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join our APAC InfraOps function to scale and operate our next‑generation AI infrastructure platform. Our InfraOps team owns reliability, automation, and operational scale for GPU infrastructure, including break/fix operations, incident response, provisioning, observability, and automation that reduces manual toil.

In this role you’ll work hands‑on with large‑scale GPU environments, Linux systems, bare metal

Qualifications

• 8+ years Linux server/hosting experience.
• 5+ years AWS experience.
• 2+ years Kubernetes experience with strong container fundamentals.
• 2+ years with Terraform and Ansible.
• 2+ years storage management (NFS, Ceph) or similar.
• Experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus, ELK).
• Familiarity with GitOps workflows.
• Software development skills for automation (Python/Go/bash).
• Strong networking fundamentals; data center networking knowledge a plus.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and roll out platforms to minimize incidents and enable features.
• Deploy updates to support internal and customer use cases.
• Collaborate with Infra Eng, Network Ops, and Software teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation in primary/secondary pattern.
