Job summary

Lightning AI in Singapore is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join our APAC InfraOps team. You will manage and enhance our AI infrastructure platform with a focus on reliability, automation, and performance in GPU environments.

Collaborate across Infra Engineering, Network Ops, Customer Success, and Software Platforms; participate in on-call rotations; monitor and optimize systems; and drive automation and capacity planning while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing Linux servers.
• 5+ years of AWS cloud experience.
• 2+ years Kubernetes experience.
• Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code.
• NFS or Ceph storage experience.
• Prometheus and ELK for monitoring and logging.
• Knowledge of GitOps workflows.
• Automation skills with Python/Go/Bash.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute platforms and operational strategies to minimize incidents.
• Implement system upgrades and enhancements for GPU infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Infra Eng, Net Ops, CS and Software Platforms teams.
• Participate in on-call rotations to maintain system integrity.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot to ensure reliability.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.
• Conduct capacity planning and resource allocation.
• Document configurations and changes for knowledge sharing.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for improvements.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies to enhance capabilities.
• Mentor junior team members and foster learning culture.
• Contribute to post-incident reviews to identify root causes.
