Job summary

Nscale in Singapore is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to build and bring up the networks behind our GPU clusters across Asia-Pacific. Based in Singapore, you’ll join our Deployment organisation, a build group that handles everything from hardware arrival on site through to customer acceptance.

This is a hands-on engineering role at an early stage of our APAC expansion. You’ll take network designs into production: configuring and validating cluster fabrics, front-end networks, and WAN edge,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of network engineering experience in large-scale data centre, cloud, or HPC environments.
• Experience with hyperscalers or major network vendors (e.g. Microsoft, AWS, Oracle/OCI, Cisco) or comparable large-scale networks.
• Practical experience with network automation (Python, Ansible, or similar).
• Familiarity with APAC data centre and carrier landscape.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and validate high-performance Ethernet and InfiniBand fabrics for large GPU clusters at APAC sites.
• Bring up front-end, storage, and management networks and WAN edge connectivity for new sites and expansions in the region.
• Work with carriers, colocation providers, and IXPs across APAC to deliver circuits, cross-connects, and peering.
• Run network acceptance testing and performance validation ahead of customer handover.
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, optics, and cabling during build and early life.
• Write runbooks and documentation to ensure repeatability across sites and regions.
