Job summary

Mistral is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to scale our APAC HR infrastructure from Singapore. You will own the end-to-end employee lifecycle, payroll execution, onboarding, and cross-border compliance across multiple markets, collaborating with local and international stakeholders to keep processes smooth.

Qualifications

• 8 to 15 years of HR experience, ideally in high-growth settings.
• Deep knowledge of Singapore labor law and APAC regulations.
• Experience with payroll and Employer of Record frameworks.
• Proficiency with HRIS and payroll software.
• Hands-on, builder mindset with process improvements.
• Strong communication and service-oriented problem solving.
• Singapore citizenship or PR due to visa constraints.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly payroll for APAC employees and EoR staff across the region.
• Oversee onboarding, contracts, amendments, and HRIS records.
• Resolve day-to-day inquiries and coordinate international work visas.
• Lead HR expansion initiatives when entering new countries.
• Audit external vendors, benchmark payroll providers, and automate workflows.
• Implement procedures that mitigate risk and ensure compliance with local laws.
