Job summary

Tencent is seeking an HR Compliance Associate to support Singapore and APAC by ensuring adherence to local employment laws, governance standards, and HR processes. You will partner with HR and Legal to handle employee relations, auditing, and policy rollout across multi-country operations.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, data accuracy, and effective stakeholder communication in a fast-paced environment with multi-country exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Law, Psychology or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, employee relations or employment compliance.
• Familiarity with Singapore employment legislation and fair employment practices is a strong advantage.
• Strong confidentiality, integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information.
• Analytical and meticulous with data and records.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with employment legislation and statutory requirements, with a focus on Singapore.
• Assist employee relations casework under guidance of senior HR and Legal colleagues.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee relations and employment compliance enquiries.
• Ensure audit-ready employment documentation and HR records.
• Support internal and external audits and HR governance activities.
• Assist policy rollout and governance across the region with legal input.
• Maintain knowledge repository and assist manager training on fair employment practices.
