Job summary

SAS INSTITUTE PTE LTD is seeking an experienced HR People Partner based in Singapore to support the local team and, as needed, across ASEAN and Greater China. You will advise managers and employees on employee relations, HR policy matters, and ensure compliant, culturally relevant HR practices aligned with company values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of HR experience across employee relations, HR operations, compliance, labour law, compensation and benefits, or blended HR roles in a complex multi-country or global organization.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, labour laws, HR compliance, employment requirements, HR policies, documentation standards, and risk considerations.
• Experience in global, matrixed, multi-country, or technology organizations, with cultural awareness and ability to balance global consistency with local nuance.
• Experience with HR systems and processes, including Workday, ServiceNow, and ADP payroll processes.
• Strong communication, documentation, consultation, stakeholder management, analytical, judgement, confidentiality, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day people support and employee relations guidance to employees, managers, HRBPs, and leaders in Singapore and across ASEAN and Greater China.
• Partner with HR Operations to ensure lifecycle processes (onboarding, probation, transfers, mobility, exits, etc.) are delivered consistently and in line with policy and compliance.
• Manage employee relations matters such as complaints, investigations, conflict resolution, and risk-aware decisions.
• Provide recommendations, coaching, and documentation guidance to resolve employee issues while supporting fair, compliant, and positive experiences.
• Provide HR policy guidance and partner with Legal and HR channels on high-risk matters to reduce litigation and risk.
• Partner with regional and global HR teams on compliance, ER governance, engagement, and culture initiatives.
