Job summary

Bloomberg is seeking an Application & Technical Support Specialist for the APAC region, based in Singapore. The role focuses on monitoring, incident resolution, deployments, and advanced troubleshooting of DMS EDM/DL+ environments, with emphasis on data integrations, SQL analyses and client-facing support.

You will collaborate with R&D, SRE, and Client Services to ensure high availability of production services and smooth operational readiness across APAC clients.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in application support or production support in financial data or enterprise platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL with ability to write complex queries and troubleshoot data/performance issues.
• Python skills for data analysis, scripting and automation.
• Knowledge of EDM/DL+ concepts, APIs and data formats (Parquet/Avro/XML/JSON).
• English fluency and excellent communication with clients and tech teams.
• Degree or equivalent experience and ability to work across APAC stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production services, investigate and remediate issues, and elevate where needed.
• Support incident management, deployments, and post-deployment validation.
• Perform operational health checks and coordinate with multiple teams across APAC.
• Provide hands-on technical support for EDM/DL+ environments and integrations.
• Analyze complex data/workflows using logs, SQL and diagnostic tools.
