Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Manager, Employee Relations APAC to provide regional expertise in ER and performance management while coaching leaders. The role focuses on handling complex ER cases, guiding managers, and reducing organizational risk across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines geographies.

You will analyze trends, lead cross-functional initiatives, and ensure compliance with employment laws while driving a culture of performance and accountability within the APAC region.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in employee relations and labor relations.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Thorough understanding of employment practices and labor relations across Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex employee relations cases, including investigations and performance matters.
• Provide coaching to leaders on employee relations, performance, and workplace matters.
• Analyze ER trends and propose proactive solutions to reduce risk.
• Lead projects with cross-functional teams and drive initiatives.
• Present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Oversee investigations, disputes, disciplinary matters, and terminations.
• Gather information through interviews and investigations to resolve claims.
• Partner with managers to raise performance expectations and accountability.
• Stay updated on employment laws and regulatory requirements across APAC.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting obligations.
