Job summary

Stripe Singapore is hiring a Manager of the APAC Credit Risk Strategy Team to lead a high-performing group of commercial underwriters and Credit Strategists responsible for Stripe's largest exposures. You will build frameworks to enable complex, multi-billion-dollar approvals while safeguarding the balance sheet.

In this role you will own the end-to-end credit risk lifecycle, partner with Sales, Risk Policy and Bank Partners, drive operational excellence, and mentor a diverse team across time

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in commercial underwriting and financial analysis across APAC.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP and IFRS).
• Ability to interact with CFOs and CEOs of top merchants.
• Strong collaboration and communication across organizations and borders.
• Experience recruiting, developing, and managing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a specialized team of commercial underwriters and Credit Strategists.
• Own the end-to-end credit risk lifecycle from onboarding to loss recovery.
• Partner with Sales, Risk Policy, and Bank Partners to align risk with business goals.
• Drive operational excellence with Credit Ops and SDC to streamline reviews.
• Serve as escalation point for ad-hoc credit reviews and complex risk decisions.
• Analyze metrics and portfolio trends to reduce credit losses.
