Job summary

Visa's Asia Pacific Corporate Strategy team in Singapore is seeking a Director to shape regional and market-specific strategy. You will lead cross-functional projects, apply rigorous quantitative analysis, and ensure alignment with global priorities.

The role requires managing multiple workstreams, mentoring junior team members, and influencing senior leadership across time zones. This hybrid role requires in-office presence and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business or similar fields.
• MBA or relevant graduate degree from top-tier institution or similar academic / professional experience preferred.
• 10 - 12 years of experience in management consulting and / or internal strategy role in a global company.
• Ability to independently lead or support projects with multiple workstreams, with proven leadership success over a wide variety of functional business problems.
• Ability to structure and manage complex cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, and attention to detail.
• Experience working with economic theories, strategic and prioritization frameworks, scenarios analysis, and competitive assessment.
• Self-starter, collaborative, and flexible, with ability to function independently in an ambiguous and evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Structure and solve business problems, collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on a wide range of business issues
• Build out unique, creative and impactful solutions by integrating insights across Visa's many expert functional resources and supporting collaborative solution development
• Develop rigorous, fact based, quantitative analysis to support recommendations. Ensure strategic and financial soundness and alignment for any recommendations
• Work closely with cross-functional and regional management teams on strategic projects, bringing timely and useful insight and analytical support
• Communicate recommendations to in a clear, concise and impactful way
• Provide continuous coaching and training to junior resources in the strategy team.
