Job summary

ABeam Consulting is seeking a seasoned PMO Lead to drive banking transformation programs across the APAC region. You will oversee planning, budgeting, governance, and reporting, coordinating global and regional teams to deliver on time and within scope.

You will work with senior stakeholders, manage risks, and ensure clean documentation and strong governance throughout project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a top-tier or leading consulting firm, with focus on banking projects.
• Business-level English with strong presentation/documentation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration across dispersed teams and overseas offices.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with remote team members across multiple locations.
• Ownership mindset with commitment to project objectives.
• Proven PMO experience in large-scale banking transformation projects (resource planning, budgeting, governance, reporting).
• End-to-end project management including planning, execution, monitoring, governance and closure.

Responsibilities

• Lead PMO activities for the Operations team in implementing a core banking system across APAC (10+ countries).
• Drive and coordinate core banking replacement initiatives aligning with regional and local objectives.
• Plan and manage resources; identify opportunities for process standardization and systemization.
• Oversee budget planning and management (Ringi process) and budgeting workflows.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation addressing issues, risks, and key decisions.
• Support PMO during planning, progress tracking, and cross-functional coordination.
• Prepare, consolidate, and present weekly/monthly status reports for management and clients.
• Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and stakeholder collaboration across client and project teams.
