Job summary

STARWOOD ASIA PACIFIC HOTELS & RESORTS PTE. LTD. seeks a Director, Contract Compliance to lead governance for the APEC region from Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualifications.
• 12-15+ years of progressive experience in finance, contract compliance, or governance in a multinational environment.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing managers or regional teams.
• Experience advising senior leadership on contractual, financial, and governance matters.
• Hospitality or hotel industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the Contract Compliance governance framework across the APEC Continent, ensuring adherence to contractual financial obligations, internal governance standards, and corporate policies.
• Provide strategic oversight on interpretation and application of contractual financial provisions and commercial arrangements.
• Serve as escalation point for complex compliance and contractual interpretations.
• Provide strategic financial governance for contract negotiations, renewals, amendments, and performance tests.
• Lead and develop a high-performing Contract Compliance organization with talent management and succession planning.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance Operations, Legal, Developments, and Operations teams to support consistent practices.
