Job summary

Fiserv is seeking a Scheme Compliance Director for APAC to oversee card scheme compliance across Asia Pacific, guiding APAC business units in delivering and supporting scheme programs, processes, and procedures.

You will manage relationships with Schemes, lead communications on rule changes, support audits, and drive risk-based decisions across regional portfolios. This is a leadership role requiring 15+ years in payments and strong regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in the Payments/Cards industry.
• In-depth knowledge of card scheme standards, processes, and regulations.
• Proven ability to support new product integration and market strategies.
• Experience handling regional and country operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee card scheme rules and network/industry requirements across APAC.
• Engage and manage relationships with Schemes.
• Lead communication on scheme rule changes and mandates.
• Manage non-compliance issues and remediation plans.
• Coordinate waiver requests and escalation processes.
• Organize workshops and training between Fiserv and Schemes.
• Support audit processes and timely inquiries.
• Provide support for annual Scheme Releases with stakeholders.
• Attend network/industry meetings and follow up on tasks.
