Job summary

Leoch International, a global battery solutions provider, seeks a hands-on Technical Engineer to be the face of technical support across APAC. You will diagnose battery issues on customer sites, work with both lead-acid and lithium technologies, and shape after-sales service scalability in the region.

You will own issues end-to-end with a regional team and direct access to HQ engineering expertise, delivering training and supporting sales on technical matters while traveling within APAC as

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of technical or field service experience.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a customer-first attitude.
• Good communication skills to engage customers and present technical topics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to travel within APAC.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites to diagnose and resolve battery-related issues and evaluate field performance.
• Support testing, installation, commissioning, and post-commissioning activities.
• Provide responsive on-site, email, and phone technical support for lead-acid and lithium batteries.
• Deliver technical training and product presentations to customers and internal teams.
• Perform battery maintenance, health checks, and performance analysis on deployed systems.
• Manage end-to-end warranty claims, including evaluation, testing, documentation and resolution.
• Ensure products meet regulatory requirements and carry out quality checks when required.
• Maintain accurate technical records, reports, and SAP entries.
• Collaborate with HQ Technical Support, Global After-Sales and production teams to resolve complex issues.
• Support sales and tender activities on technical matters across APAC.
