Job summary

Eames Consulting partners with a top-tier global financial services group to appoint a senior Azure Cloud Architect for the APAC region. The role blends architectural governance with hands-on delivery, driving modernization of enterprise cloud environments and PaaS infrastructure.

You will lead platform transformation, mentor senior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners to ensure resilient, scalable cloud services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience designing and scaling enterprise cloud platforms.
• Deep expertise in Azure Cloud environments.
• Advanced proficiency in IaC tooling (Terraform).
• Scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Proven production background in container orchestration (OCP/AKS).
• Expert-level knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with observability frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) and cloud networking.
• CIAM platforms experience (Ping Identity) is highly advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and modernization of enterprise cloud platforms across APAC.
• Lead DevOps and automation strategies to speed delivery and resilience.
• Oversee hybrid container ecosystems using OCP/AKS and service meshes.
• Champion security, governance, cost optimization, and CIAM strategies.
• Mentor and guide Azure Cloud architects and engineers while engaging senior stakeholders.
