Job summary

THE JAPAN RESEARCH INSTITUTE, LTD. seeks a senior cloud platform architect to design, build, and manage a robust Azure-focused cloud platform, including OpenShift-based container workloads.

You will lead DevOps, security, and cost optimization while mentoring a team of cloud engineers across regional and offshore partners. The role requires hands-on expertise in cloud-native services, IaC, CI/CD, and CIAM with Ping Identity, driving modernization to meet regulatory standards and business needs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on cloud platform experience, with Azure as a focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, build, and ongoing management of the cloud platform service, focusing on Azure and cloud-native services.
• Architect, implement, and maintain cloud platform services to modernize and meet regulatory requirements.
• Oversee DevOps and automation platform, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Manage hybrid container platform using Red Hat OpenShift for diverse workloads.
• Establish engineering standards, architecture blueprints, and runbooks.
• Champion cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization across services.
• Collaborate with architects, app teams, vendors, and offshore partners for alignment.
• Mentor cloud architects and engineers to foster growth.
• Develop CIAM strategies and Ping Identity platforms for secure access.
