Job summary

AVENSYS CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is recruiting an Azure Cloud Architect – Linux SME to design, implement, and optimize secure Azure environments for Linux workloads. You will lead migrations, ensure high availability, and collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD and IaC practices.

The role requires strong Azure, Linux administration, and automation skills with certifications and enterprise-scale cloud experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud Architecture.
• Hands-on Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu.
• Knowledge of Azure networking, compute, storage, security, IAM and monitoring.
• Experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, firewalls, VPN, routing and load balancing.
• Terraform and/or ARM/Bicep experience.
• Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Git, CI/CD and DevOps practices knowledge.
• Cloud security, identity and access management expertise.
• HA/DR, backup and business continuity knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure cloud infrastructure architectures for enterprise Linux workloads.
• Act as Linux Subject Matter Expert for cloud infrastructure, migration, and operations.
• Architect Azure solutions using AKS, VMs, storage, networking, and security services.
• Lead Linux workload migrations from on-prem to Azure.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and performance.
• Administer, patch, harden, and troubleshoot Linux servers.
• Configure Linux networking, storage, filesystems, DNS, SSH, and services.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform, Ansible, Azure CLI, and PowerShell.
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD, IaC, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Define governance, monitoring, backup, and security standards.
• Provide architecture documentation and implementation guides.
