Job summary

Singapore General Hospital Pte Ltd. is seeking a capable manager to lead the department’s day-to-day administration, including budgeting, staff training and recruitment, while driving agile processes for the Allied Health workforce.

You will oversee planning, data analysis and governance to ensure efficient operations and impactful projects. The role requires a degree with substantial managerial experience and proven ability to lead improvement initiatives within healthcare.

Qualifications

• A degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience and at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in leading improvement/innovation projects with a sound understanding of quality improvement principles and methodologies.
• Competence in project management and change management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Department’s day-to-day administrative duties and programmes including budgeting, work plan, staff training, recruitment, procurement.
• Oversee operational strategies, initiatives and work processes to build an agile Allied Health workforce in SGH.
• Strategise and plan resources for mid and long term initiatives within defined areas.
• Monitor and analyse clinical care, operations and manpower data and recommend priorities.
• Identify innovation projects and work with team on planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation.
• Monitor and manage use of resources for efficiency, including manpower and funding.
• Oversee department documentation and databases to enable timely information sharing and reporting.
• Oversee events planning, publicity, execution and post-event activities.
• Identify initiatives for showcasing at platforms like awards or conferences.
