Job summary

DP World Singapore is seeking an Assistant/Manager, Procurement to support market analysis, pricing strategies, and data-driven recommendations, working with regional procurement to align with commercial objectives. You will drive pricing initiatives for airfreight, manage tenders (RFI/RFP/RFQ), negotiate with airlines and co-loaders, and help develop new airfreight products from Singapore.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of Airfreight experience in Freight Forwarding (industry).
3 years of commercial experience; pricing and tenders is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with negotiation and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

Support development and implementation of country airfreight pricing strategy.
Drive growth across trade lanes by optimizing volume, revenue, gross profit and capacity utilization.
Establish and manage Tender Net Rates (TNR) and support contracts and tenders activities (RFI, RFP, RFQ).
Collaborate on spot rate and short-term growth initiatives; evaluate rates from overseas offices for competitiveness.
Analyze market trends and generate pricing and performance reports to support data-driven decisions.
Act as liaison between airfreight product, sales, marketing, and trade lanes; align pricing with reviews.
Lead negotiations with airlines and co-loader vendors, including rate agreements and space bookings.
Drive space and capacity planning to optimise cost and service levels and develop new airfreight products from Singapore.
Experience in the Singapore-USA core trade lane is a strong advantage.
