Job summary

UPS SCS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a logistics professional to support airfreight product development and coordination across Sales, Marketing, and operations.

You will assist in planning daily shipment movements in line with client needs and operational requirements, while working with airlines and vendors to optimize charges within margin guidelines. The role involves ensuring accurate airline billing, providing expert advisory on airfreight operations, and contributing to tenders

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Logistics/SC/Business preferred.
• 3–5 years in airfreight or related field.
• Knowledge of IATA regulations; DG certification advantageous.
• Familiarity with customs/trade controls; relevant certs are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and enhancing airfreight products with Sales and Marketing.
• Coordinate daily shipment movements aligning with operational needs and customer requirements.
• Negotiate with airlines/vendors and manage charges per margin guidelines.
• Verify airline billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Provide SME advisory in airfreight operations and support tenders including customs/trade compliance.
• Implement corrective actions from audits and operational gaps.
• Continuously review and improve processes to meet evolving customer expectations.
