Job summary

People Profilers Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding professional to support airfreight operations. You will coordinate with destination and customer for shipping instructions, book flights with procurement, and track shipments to meet client expectations.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma in Logistics, 3–4 years in airfreight, knowledge of Incoterms 2010, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain or equivalent.
• At least 3 - 4 years of experience in Airfreight and familiar with export process.
• Good understanding of Incoterms 2010.
• Self-discipline, initiative, responsible and independent in a fast-paced environment.
• A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible / Adaptive to changes.
• Meticulous to details.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with destination and customer for shipping instruction.
• Booking of flights with procurement team.
• Arrange shipments collection with customers and Traffic Team.
• Track and monitor shipments status and inform customer accordingly.
• Maintain good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Handle all customers' enquiries timely and effectively.
• Work closely with internal operations to meet customer's requirements.
• Ensure compliance with customer's Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure all data are updated correctly in system.
• Interface with multiple parties including customer, warehouse, carriers, customs, etc on shipment requirements.
• Monitors progress to achieve month end targets.
• Work with billing team to close off jobs and issue invoice.
• Take lead in issue resolutions.
• Implement improvements to enhance service capability within the team.
• All other ad-hoc work instructions from Supervisor / Manager.
