Job summary

Adecco Personnel Pte Ltd is seeking an Operations Assistant to manage end-to-end air freight import shipments in East Singapore. You will coordinate arrivals, customs clearance and final delivery with airlines, transporters and warehouses.

The role requires good customer service, strong communication, and the ability to handle multiple shipments in a busy environment. Basic MS Office knowledge is preferred; a variable bonus and shift allowances are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in air freight import or freight forwarding preferred.
• Good understanding of import processes and shipping documentation.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple shipments in a busy environment.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end air freight import shipments.
• Coordinate shipments from arrival through customs clearance and final delivery.
• Prepare and check import shipping documents.
• Provide customers with timely shipment updates and handle enquiries.
• Coordinate with airlines, transporters, warehouses and internal teams.
• Monitor shipment progress and resolve delays or operational issues.
• Ensure shipments meet customer requirements and SOPs.
• Support billing and other shipment-related administrative duties.

Work Week: 5 Days ( Rotating Shift )
Benefits: Variable Bonus (VB) + Shift Allowances

Working Hours:

• Morning Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• Afternoon Shift: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Shift Allowances:

Operations Assistant Level

• Afternoon Shift: $7 per shift
• Night Shift: $11 per shift

Operations Level

• Afternoon Shift: $200 per month

The Job
