Job summary

HR Millennium Consultancy Pte Ltd in Singapore is recruiting an Air Export Operations Assistant Manager to lead its air export operations team.

You will oversee daily shipments, prepare air waybills and origin certificates, and ensure compliance with airline and customs rules. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing seven staff in a fast-paced environment. The job is on-site with a 5.5-day work week and occasional weekend duty with overtime allowances.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on knowledge of air freight export operations.
• Proven ability to lead an operations team.
• Good understanding of air waybills and export documentation.
• Ability to improve workflows and implement SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and develop a team of seven in air export operations.
• Oversee daily air export operations and ensure timely processing of shipments.
• Prepare Air Waybills, export docs, permits and Certificates of Origin.
• Coordinate with transport providers and internal teams for cargo delivery.
• Ensure compliance with airline, customs, and internal standards.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues and update management with reports.
• Introduce process improvements and new SOPs; support onboarding of new customers.
• Work with customer service, sales and other departments to provide consistent service.
• Participate in weekend duty approximately once a month with overtime and allowances.
