Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Singapore is seeking a motivated student for an Air Export Operations and Customer Service role. You will answer calls, respond to inquiries, and coordinate air shipments with internal and external stakeholders.

You will check documents, update systems, ensure compliance, and assist with flight bookings while learning CargoWise. The position offers exposure to end-to-end logistics processes and a collaborative team at CEVA.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

• Answer all incoming calls promptly and politely
• Respond to customer enquiries promptly
• Handle all air shipment interface with multiple stakeholders (internal and external customer/vendors) on shipment requirements
• Booking of flights with procurement team

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Air Export Operations

• Check on AWB/HAWB and all other necessary shipping documents and feedback to customer and overseas agent if any discrepancy/non-compliance issue
• Ensure all data are updated correctly in system
• To ensure AED compliance and job file closures within KPI

Air Export Customer Service

• Provide flight details and feedback to customer on freight status timely
• Liaise with overseas agents on various requirements and rates
• Monitor shipment uplift and transit to ensure timely arrival/delivery to consignee, as well as updating shipment delays to shipper and destination stations whenever occurs
• Obtain rate approval from customer before shipment execution
• Good understanding of customer's SOP and shipment handling requirement by ensuring compliance prior to shipping, with customer satisfaction

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding operations is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data monitoring and reporting.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work independently.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn and work with logistics management systems such as CargoWise.
