Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a logistics-focused intern to support cargo operations in Singapore. You will monitor shipment status, track deliveries, and ensure PODs are uploaded promptly, while coordinating with operations teams, carriers, and agents to resolve issues.

Role requires pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Logistics/SCM/Business Admin, strong Excel skills, and a detail-oriented mindset. Training on CargoWise and standard operating procedures will be provided.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Logistics, SCM, or related field.
• Basic understanding of logistics, freight forwarding operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow SOPs and work independently.
• Willingness to learn and use CargoWise.

Responsibilities

• Monitor shipment delivery status in CargoWise system.
• Track outstanding deliveries and follow up on delays.
• Ensure Proof of Delivery documents are uploaded timely.
• Coordinate with operations teams, carriers, and agents.
• Update shipment records with accurate delivery information.
• Prepare delivery status reports for management.
• Assist with administrative and documentation tasks in operations.
• Prepare and dispatch NOA notifications to agents.
• Verify shipment details and supporting documents before notifications.
• Monitor cargo readiness status and communicate with agents.
• Follow up with agents on acknowledgements or collection arrangements.
• Assist coordinating with operations and customer service teams.

YOUR ROLE

• Monitor shipment delivery status through the CargoWise system.
• Track and follow up on outstanding deliveries and delayed shipments.
• Ensure timely availability and uploading of Proof of Delivery (POD) documents.
• Coordinate with operations teams, carriers, and agents to obtain missing PODs.
• Update shipment records and maintain accurate delivery information in CargoWise.
• Prepare delivery status reports and highlight exceptions for management review.
• Assist in resolving delivery discrepancies and documentation issues.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Prepare and dispatch Notice of Arrival (NOA) notifications to agents for cargo ready for collection.
• Verify shipment details and supporting documents before sending notifications.
• Monitor cargo readiness status and ensure timely communication to agents.
• Follow up with agents on outstanding acknowledgements or collection arrangements.
• Update shipment records and maintain accurate documentation in the company system.
• Assist in coordinating with operations and customer service teams regarding cargo availability.
• * Support administrative and documentation-related tasks within the operations department.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding operations is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data monitoring and reporting.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work independently.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn and work with logistics management systems such as CargoWise.
