Job summary

CHING HENG BUILDERS PTE. LTD. is seeking a field technician to install and commission air-conditioning systems at residential properties and to service, troubleshoot, and repair cooling equipment. You will maintain diverse units, diagnose issues, and ensure safe operations.

The role involves reviewing blueprints, testing systems, and performing preventive maintenance to maximize efficiency, with emphasis on delivering professional service to clients.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission air-conditioning systems at residential properties.
• Service, troubleshoot, and repair various cooling and refrigeration equipment.
• Maintain air conditioners, refrigerators, wine coolers, and chest freezers.
• Diagnose technical issues and ensure efficient equipment performance.
• Deliver reliable, professional service while maintaining high safety standards.
• Install, maintain, repair, and service air conditioning systems including split units, window and cassette units within client's facilities.
• Review blueprints, install and commission air conditioning systems, test for proper functioning, perform emergency repairs, and maintain tools and records.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and corrective works on air conditioning systems to ensure optimal operation.

• Maintain air conditioners, refrigerators, wine coolers, and chest freezers.
• Diagnose technical issues and ensure efficient equipment performance.
• Deliver reliable, professional service while maintaining high safety standards.
• Installing, maintaining, repairing, and servicing various types of air conditioning systems including split units, window and cassette units within client's facilities.
• Reviewing blueprints, installing air conditioning systems, commissioning, testing systems for proper functioning, performing emergency repairs, maintaining tools, ordering supplies, and making routine adjustments to maximize operational efficiency.
• Performing routine preventive maintenance and corrective works on air conditioning system to ensure they are working smoothly and efficiently.
• Perform routine servicing such as cleaning filters, chemical washes, and overhauls Diagnose, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.
• Installing, replacing, or repairing equipment that has been damaged such as replacement of aircon compressor, fan coil motors etc.
• Attending to breakdown, servicing, repairing and emergency requests.
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed and preparation of service report for client’s endorsement upon completion of service/ repair/installation work.
• Complying with safety procedures, service standards, work instructions, and clients' requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
• Any other tasks or duties assigned by Supervisor and Management.
