Job summary

BOON ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking technicians to install, service, and repair air conditioning systems at customer sites. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring system cleanliness to improve air quality and efficiency.

Candidates should be prepared for manual tasks and overtime on weekdays, Sundays, or public holidays when required, with attendance at training sessions as needed.

Qualifications

• HVAC servicing experience preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair air conditioning units.
• Willingness to perform manual work and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Install air conditioning systems.
• Perform troubleshooting and repair of air conditioning units.
• Carry out on-site preventive servicing and maintenance of air conditioning systems.
• Clean, check, and repair air conditioning units, including warranty servicing.
• Diagnose faulty air-conditioning systems and equipment to identify root causes and replace defective components.
• Improve air quality and system efficiency by cleaning cooling coils (Chemical Wash / Steam Cleaning).
• Ensure drain pipes are free from dust and dirt and functioning properly.
• Perform repair work promptly and efficiently.
• Submit daily service and maintenance reports.
• Ensure all work complies with appliance standards and Workplace Safety & Health regulations.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Attend training when required.
