Job summary

Be Cool Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled air-conditioning technician to perform preventive maintenance, servicing and repair of air-conditioning systems. You will diagnose electrical, mechanical and refrigeration faults and identify root causes to implement effective solutions.

The role involves servicing, chemical cleaning, and component replacement, with hands-on duties and customer-facing problem solving to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on air-conditioning experience in servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Able to diagnose electrical and mechanical aircon faults.
• Experience in chemical wash and component replacement is an advantage.
• Physically capable of hands-on work, climbing and carrying equipment.
• Class 3 driving license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repair and replacement of defective components such as compressors, fan motors, capacitors, thermostats, control parts and other aircon components.
• Perform servicing, chemical cleaning and overhaul works when required.
• Attend to customers' complaints and breakdowns and provide effective technical solutions.
• Conduct inspection and testing after repair or maintenance to ensure systems are operating properly.
• Perform other technical duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

About the role

About you

• Minimum 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in air-conditioning servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair

• Able to troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical aircon faults

• Experience in chemical wash, chemical overhaul and component replacement is an advantage

• Able to perform manual tasks and comfortable with hands-on work, climbing and carrying equipment when required

• Class 3 driving license is an advantage
