Job summary

Consolidation Specialist role in Singapore for a local freight forwarder at Changi Airfreight Centre. You will handle inquiries, quotations, and bookings, ensuring accurate data and timely updates to customers.

Applicants with 1–2 years in air cargo customer service or similar roles, and familiarity with booking procedures and ERP systems, are preferred. Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday hours, on-site work.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
• 1–2 years in air cargo customer service, reservations, or sales support; applicants from freight forwarders, GSAs, or airlines preferred.
• Basic knowledge of airfreight booking procedures, rate quotations, flight schedules, and space availability.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and cargo booking/ERP systems.
• Strong communication skills for daily interaction with airlines, sales teams, and customers.
• Good organizational skills to accurately maintain booking data and track shipment movements.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude toward resolving shipment updates and enquiries.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries, quotations, bookings and booking amendments.
• Provide customers with rates, flight schedules, routing and space availability.
• Coordinate bookings with airlines and other service providers.
• Monitor shipments from booking through uplift and onward movement.
• Provide customers with timely shipment status and flight updates.
• Ensure booking and shipment information is accurately maintained.
• Liaise closely with sales, airlines and customers to ensure smooth cargo movement.
• Support the sales team with quotations, rate enquiries and potential shipment opportunities.
