SEARCH STAFFING SERVICES PTE. LTD is hiring an Airfreight Specialist for a local freight forwarder at Changi Airfreight Centre. The role involves handling bookings, planning flight utilization, and ensuring timely updates to customers.

The candidate should have 2-3 years in air cargo operations, experience with reservation systems, and strong problem-solving skills to handle disruptions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in air cargo reservations, flight capacity planning, or cargo operations.
• Strong knowledge of airfreight booking procedures and capacity optimization.
• Familiarity with IATA standards and DGR is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle cargo bookings for direct and interline flights, including reservations, amendments, cancellations and inquiries.
• Plan flights based on payload, capacity and bookings to optimize utilization.
• Monitor bookings, no-shows, offloads and shipment recovery.
• Manage booking allocation and prioritization based on capacity and requirements.
• Provide customers with updates on status, changes, delays and disruptions.
• Coordinate interline connections and onward movement of shipments.
• Track shipment movements and resolve irregularities and service issues.
• Coordinate with sales and operations on capacity and customer requirements.
