K2 Partnering Solutions Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a hands-on AI Application Engineer to bridge rapid prototyping and production-grade software delivery.

You will establish a structured path to production for high-potential AI use cases, transforming prototypes into secure, scalable applications. Within the core engineering team, you will collaborate with product owners, data engineers, security specialists, and business stakeholders to refactor, harden, and scale AI-driven solutions across

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience in enterprise-grade or cloud-native apps.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, .NET, or Java.
• Experience integrating apps with cloud AI services (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure ML) and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on with LLMs, RAG patterns, prompt engineering, vector search, embeddings, and workflow orchestration.
• Secure coding practices (secrets management, least-privilege, IAM).
• Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and containerization.
• Awareness of AI risks (hallucinations, prompt injection, data leakage, explainability).

Responsibilities

• Re-architect early-stage AI prototypes into production-ready software with clean architecture and secure APIs.
• Design and build end-to-end AI capabilities, including RAG, conversational interfaces, and enterprise automation.
• Develop scalable applications across front-end, back-end, database integrations, authentication, logging, and monitoring.
• Implement AI safety patterns, including prompt management, input/output filtering, audit logging, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Create standardized starter templates, reusable patterns, and engineering playbooks for AI delivery.
• Build automated testing suites (functional, regression, prompt quality, guardrails) and monitor latency and cost.
• Collaborate with platform engineers to deploy via CI/CD pipelines and enterprise cloud infrastructure.
• Maintain solution designs, SOPs, and support guides for long-term maintainability.
