Job summary

OCBC Bank in Singapore seeks an experienced Responsible AI Lead to operationalise AI governance, strengthen governance processes, and provide advisory across business units. You will drive model management, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting to support a sustainable future for AI in banking.

The role requires 5–8 years in AI governance, model risk, or related areas, with strong communication skills and the ability to interact with senior management on technical governance concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related AI Governance discipline.
• 5–8 years in AI/ML, model risk, model validation, or AI governance — in regulated environments.
• Experience validating models and applying risk management to AI use cases including GenAI.
• Strong understanding of AI lifecycle management, bias, fairness, explainability, controls and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Implement and operationalise AI governance framework and policies to meet regulatory requirements.
• Drive adoption of a modern Model Management Platform across dev teams and monitor usage.
• Provide advisory and training to business units on AI governance requirements.
• Manage AI inventory and facilitate AI risk and materiality assessments.
• Monitor AI regulations and prepare governance reports and regulator responses.
