Our client, a leading FMCG / consumer goods company, is looking for a Demand Planner to support its Demand Planning function as part of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong analytical and Excel skills who are keen to develop their expertise in demand planning and work closely with multiple business functions.
Support the Demand Planning function as part of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, contributing to forecasting, planning discussions and business strategies.
Manage short-term and long-term demand forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
Work closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Service and Order Management teams to support effective supply-demand planning.
Partner with forecasting and analytics teams to develop and refine statistical demand forecasts.
Analyse forecast variances, service-level issues and planning gaps, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Maintain and utilise demand planning systems and tools to support planning activities.
Monitor and report key demand planning KPIs, including forecast accuracy, supply outlook, shipment risks and overall planning performance.
Support inventory planning initiatives to improve inventory health, reduce excess stock and minimise obsolescence risks.
Manage and follow through on open issues arising from the monthly IBP cycle, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
Support regional and global digital transformation initiatives, including forecasting and system enhancement projects.
Prior experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, IBP or S&OP.
Candidates from FMCG, consumer goods, food manufacturing or other fast- paced industries are welcome. Industry experience is not limited to FMCG.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and macros.
Experience with SAP/APO is highly preferred.
Experience with Power BI and/or other analytics tools will be advantageous.
Familiarity with demand forecasting, inventory planning and S&OP/IBP processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
Strong business acumen and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple functions.
Able to manage tight timelines and follow through on issues to closure.
