Job summary

NCS Pte Ltd is hiring a Business Consultant to understand client objectives, shape business solutions, and translate needs into actionable requirements for delivery teams.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in business consultancy or business analysis within technology or transformation projects, with ability to engage clients confidently and support solution design from business and user perspectives. AI product experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of BA experience in IT, SI or consulting projects.
• Experience in medium to large SI projects.
• Education sector experience is a plus.
• Exposure to product design or digital delivery is an advantage.
• Experience with AI products or AI-enabled initiatives is highly desirable.
• Some experience with cloud-native AI platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, document, and validate business requirements with clients and stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into functional specs, use cases, and user stories.
• Identify gaps and inefficiencies in current processes.
• Define business rules, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
• Support discovery through interviews, workshops, and journey mapping.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure feasible solutions.
• Assist in translating requirements into designs or system specs.
• Support prototyping, wireframes, and concept experiments.
• Contribute to user journeys and experience flows.
• Support AI product initiatives by defining workflows and data needs.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and UAT planning.
• Ensure solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
• Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Support change readiness activities.
