Job summary

Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore invites interns to co-develop ICT systems that enhance how taxpayers connect with IRAS. You will work on 1–2 projects involving data science, software engineering and ML technologies to deliver solutions aligned with business goals.

During a 6-month internship (Jan–May/Jun 2027), you’ll gain hands-on experience with data pipelines, stakeholder collaboration, and presenting results to leadership, while building robust data infrastructures.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in software engineering and/or machine learning and/or big data technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good self-management and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Understand data science and AI landscape at IRAS and liaise with business users.
• Develop/enhance applications/models based on user needs.
• Build data pipelines to support applications and data needs.
• Present projects at key management meetings.
