Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) invites applications for the Intern - Data Engineering (Spring 2027, Jan to Jun) in Singapore. Join the Data & AI Engineering unit to work on data science workflows, big data and cloud-based pipelines, and contribute to real-time analytics from Day 1.

You will build end-to-end pipelines using Python, SQL, and ML tools, gain hands-on experience with GCP, kdb+ for data extraction, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver business impact.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL skills with a focus on data science and ML workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; able to collaborate across teams.
• Ability to work on large datasets and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify business problems addressable by data science and analytics.
• Develop end-to-end data pipelines and ML models using Python and ML libraries.
• Extract data from data warehouse using kdb+ where applicable and leverage GCP services.
• Build visualizations and dashboards to expose insights to business users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
