Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer to support MRO production, testing, and troubleshooting of aircraft components. You will lead fault isolation and root cause analysis, working with test equipment OEMs and other stakeholders to address issues and improve Value Stream performance.

The role requires 5+ years in aviation engineering, strong understanding of drawings, and the ability to work across time zones in a multi-cultural environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5 years' relevant engineering experience in aviation.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and schematics.
• Experience with test equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Able to work across time zones and in a multi-cultural environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of TPM.

Responsibilities

• Support MRO production, testing and troubleshooting of aircraft components and systems.
• Lead in investigation, fault isolation and root cause analysis of technical defects.
• Collaborate with test equipment OEM to address failures promptly.
• Coordinate with OEM on technical matters.
• Drive process improvement projects for efficiency.
• Support New Production Introduction.
• Provide technical assistance to maintain testing equipment.
• Engage with stakeholders to meet Value Stream objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all US and Singapore Export Control Regulations.
