Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, is seeking an experienced engineer to support MRO production, testing and troubleshooting of aircraft components at Changi, Singapore.

You will lead fault isolation and root cause analysis, work with OEMs on technical matters, and participate in process improvements to meet Value Stream objectives.

Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with at least 5 years in aviation is required, plus strong communication skills and TPM knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering.
  • 5 years' relevant engineering experience in Aviation.
  • Good understanding of engineering drawings, schematics and documentation.
  • Experience in test equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Able to work independently across time zones and multi-cultural environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
  • Working Location: Changi.

Responsibilities

  • Support MRO production, testing and troubleshooting of aircraft components and systems.
  • Lead investigation, fault isolation and root cause analysis of technical defects.
  • Coordinate with test equipment OEM to address failures in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the OEM on all technical matters.
  • Work on process improvement projects for better efficiency.
  • Support New Production Introduction.
  • Provide technical assistance to upkeep and maintain testing equipment.
  • Work with stakeholders to meet Value Stream objectives.
  • Comply with US and Singapore Export Control Regulations.
