Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Singapore is seeking an engineer to support MRO production, testing and troubleshooting of aircraft components and systems from Changi. You will lead fault isolation and root cause analysis, coordinating with test equipment OEMs and internal stakeholders to meet Value Stream objectives.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, about 5 years' relevant aviation experience, strong reading of drawings and documentation, and hands-on experience with test

• 5 years' relevant engineering experience in Aviation preferred.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings, schematics and documentation.
• Experience in test equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Flexible and able to adapt to multi-cultural and fast-changing environments.
• Ability to work independently and across multiple time zones.
• Willingness to learn and work with diverse technologies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of TPM.

Lead in the investigation, fault isolation and root cause analysis of technical defects, working closely with test equipment OEM and other stakeholders to address failures and meet Value Stream objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) production, testing and troubleshooting of aircraft components and systems
• Lead in the investigation, fault isolation and root cause analysis of technical defects
• Work closely with test equipment OEM to address failures in a timely manner
• Work closely with the OEM on all technical matters
• Work on process improvement projects for better efficiency
• Support New Production Introduction
• Provide technical assistance to upkeep and maintain testing equipment
• Work with various stakeholders to meet Value Stream objectives
• Comply with all US and Singapore Export Control Regulations

About you

• Degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering
• 5 years' relevant engineering experience in the Aviation industry preferred
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, schematics and documentations
• Experience in test equipment troubleshooting and maintenance
• Flexible and ability to adapt to multi-cultural and quick changing environment
• Ability to work independently and across multiple time zones, when required
• Ability to learn and work with new and diverse technologies
• Strong interpersonal skill
• Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
• Good oral and written communication skills
