Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Singapore is seeking an engineer to support MRO production, testing and troubleshooting of aircraft components and systems from Changi. You will lead fault isolation and root cause analysis, coordinating with test equipment OEMs and internal stakeholders to meet Value Stream objectives.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, about 5 years' relevant aviation experience, strong reading of drawings and documentation, and hands-on experience with test

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5 years' relevant engineering experience in Aviation preferred.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings, schematics and documentation.
• Experience in test equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Flexible and able to adapt to multi-cultural and fast-changing environments.
• Ability to work independently and across multiple time zones.
• Willingness to learn and work with diverse technologies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of TPM.

Responsibilities

• Support MRO production, testing and troubleshooting of aircraft components and systems.
• Lead investigation, fault isolation and root cause analysis of defects.
• Coordinate with test equipment OEMs for timely resolution of failures.
• Collaborate with OEM on technical matters.
• Drive process improvement projects for efficiency.
• Support New Production Introduction.
• Provide technical assistance to maintain testing equipment.
• Work with stakeholders to meet Value Stream objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all export control regulations.
