Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Singapore is seeking an Engineer Technician to support engine teardown and related inspections onsite. You will draft teardown work scopes, document findings, and coordinate with engineers and TSEs to resolve issues.

The role requires a Diploma in Aerospace/Mechanical engineering and 2+ years in Aerospace MRO, with strong analytical and reporting skills. Exciting opportunities in a leading RTX business with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Min 2 years of experience in Aerospace Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and cross-functional.
• Experience in root cause analysis and technical problem-solving.
• Able to interpret and draft technical reports.
• Effective communicator with strong technical writing and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Attend engine pre-induction meeting for scheduled engines shop visits.
• Draft engine teardown work scopes based on pre-induction assessments.
• Attend to engine teardown and perform dirty inspection review together with operation team.
• Document engine parts conditions and upload findings to the server.
• Draft & reviews teardown reports with Technical Service Engineer (TSE).
• Verify and resolve technical issues with TSE.
• Assist in engineering driven improvement projects.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors on equipment upgrade and modification, when necessary.
• Perform any related duties as directed by the supervisor.
