Job summary

RECRUIT LYNC PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to join an aerospace MRO environment, supporting production and repair of complex components.

You will collaborate with shop-floor teams to solve technical challenges, drive manufacturing performance, and ensure processes meet required standards. The role covers engineering changes, new product introduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, MRO, precision engineering or mechanical production preferred.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical engineering partner to production teams, providing timely support for day-to-day manufacturing challenges.
• Troubleshoot issues involving mechanical components, assembly processes and production methods.
• Investigate defects, process deviations and recurring problems using structured root-cause analysis.
• Develop practical solutions and follow through on corrective and preventive actions.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing yield, product reliability and process stability.
• Work with shop-floor personnel to implement and sustain technical improvements.
• Take ownership of assigned products or technical work packages and coordinate related engineering activities.
• Support the transition of new products, process changes and engineering modifications into production.
• Participate in product and process qualification activities where required.
• Assist with investigations involving customer returns, quality issues and field-related findings.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production and other functions to resolve complex technical matters.
• Prepare and maintain engineering records, work instructions, technical reports and other manufacturing documentation.
• Contribute to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects aimed at improving efficiency and reducing process variation.
• Ensure manufacturing solutions and engineering activities comply with relevant aerospace quality, safety and regulatory requirements.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
Salary: Up to S$6,000 per month

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Around 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, MRO, precision engineering or mechanical production is preferred.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, process improvement or similar methodologies.
