Job summary

Boys' Town in Singapore seeks an enthusiastic team member to facilitate adventure-based programs and support programme development. You will assist in planning, designing, and organizing activities, while supervising younger staff and interns to ensure safety and quality.

You will participate in training, equipment maintenance, and logs on safety procedures, with occasional evenings/weekends to meet programme needs. Passion for youth work is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma with good communications (spoken and written).
• SNCS Level 1/2 or higher; SNAS Level 1/2 or higher preferred.
• SCF 1-star/2-star or higher with a valid first aid certification.
• Ability to conduct basic research and programme evaluation.
• Passion for active sports and outdoor adventure.
• Desire to work with at-risk youths.
• Facilitation experience in ice breakers and team-building activities.
• Programme design experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate adventure-based programs and workshops for a wide client base.
• Assist in planning, designing, and organizing programmes and training materials.
• Assist in programme development and improvement for quality and relevance.
• Contribute to SOP development and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with instructional staff; provide resource support for programmes.
• Supervise and train younger staff or interns.
• Ensure equipment functionality and safety compliance.
• Maintain up-to-date certifications and logs for equipment/structures.
• Maintain cleanliness of BTAC stores, structures, and activity areas.
• Engage in professional development to enhance knowledge and soft skills.
• Work evenings and weekends as required; take on instructor/facilitator/coach roles.
• Support sales/marketing of BTAC programmes when needed.
